Our Inspiration
The Janata Shikshan Mandal (hereafter referred to as Mandal) of Alibag, established in 1960, started its first institution namely the JSM Arts, Science, and Commerce college, Alibag in June 1961. The Mandal, thereafter, strived to strengthen the institution in imparting knowledge in the fields of Arts, Science and Commerce by recruitment of highly qualified faculty members in various streams.
The long-cherished dream of the Mandal came true after four decades when it started the first Law College in the rural area of Raigad District from the year 2000-2001. As of today 34, well-furnished classrooms, 15 state-of-the-art laboratories, two ICT enabled seminar halls and a well-updated library are providing services to the 13 undergraduate and 03 post graduate courses where around 2250 students are enrolled every year.
